Parisis Gallos

Parisis G. Gallos was born in Serres, Greece (1984). In 2006, he received his Bachelor Nursing Degree, followed by a Masters on Health Informatics (2008) and he has related scientific work in this field until today. In 2016 became Doctor of Philosofy (Ph.D.) on Health Informatics with an orientation to Travellers' m-Health Tecnologies. He is currently employed as an Expert Scientist at National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Department of Nursing, and he is a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Peloponnese, Department of Nursing. Former Visiting Lecturer at the Cyprus University of Technology from 2008 to 2010, he has also worked as sub-constructor in Clinical Trials for several Greek Scientific Societies. His Research Interests include Health Informatics, m-Health, Healthcare Technology Evaluation, Biostatistics and Data Analysis, and he has a large Scientific Experience as a member of both Health Informatics Laboratory and Biostatistics Laboratory in the Department of Nursing, School of Health Sciences, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He is an author of several scientific publications related to m-Health Informatics and other research work. Additionally, he is an Editor and Reviewer in Scientific Publication Volumes of articles and he has been a member of different Organising and Scientific Committees of International and National Scientific Conferences.
Since 2007, he has gained broad Teaching Experience in many taught modules covering the subjects of Health Informatics, Telemedicine, Biostatistics and Health Economics. Finally, he is a vice President of the Greek Biomedical and Health Informatics Association and member of the board of the Greek Nursing Studies Association. Parisis is also an Emergency First Response Instructor (BLS and First Aid) and Scuba Diving Instructor with more than seven years of experience.
