Niki Pandria

Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (GR)
Niki Pandria has completed her bachelor studies in the Department of Mathematics of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) in 2011. Then, she followed a MSc course in Statistics and Modeling in the same department under the supervision of Associate Professor Dimitris Kugiumtzis. Her MSc studies were completed in 2013 with distinction and a rewarding scholarship for her performance. Since September 2013, she collaborates as a research associate with the Medical Physics Laboratory of the Medical School at AUTH (http://medphys.med.auth.gr/) under the supervision of Associate Professor Panagiotis Bamidis, and as of March 2016, she is officially a PhD candidate in the same Laboratory and with the same supervisor. The subject of her PhD thesis is “A neuroscientific investigation of addiction and the role of neurofeedback”. Moreover, she is member of the Neuroscience of Cognition and Affection group (NCA), hosted in the laboratory of Medical Physics, as well as, a member of the Hellenic Mathematical Association. She is certified as Neurofeedback Trainer by the IFEN institute. Her research interests focus on Neurofeedback’s applications, the study of brain networks using graph theory and the correlation of time series. She has contributions in interdisciplinary conferences either as presenter or having poster presentations as well as she is author of scientific papers.
