Meghna is a software engineer at Qatar Computing Research Institute (QCRI), working in the domain of health informatics with the goal of improving health and lives of people using multi-modal data from wearable sensors, social media, health records, etc. She is currently developing an open source toolkit for sleep and actigraphy data analysis using deep learning. Before joining QCRI, Meghna worked at IBM’s India Research Lab on their SpokenWeb project to build a voice based parallel internet using Java technologies and VoiceXML to increase accessibility of internet for the rural poor. She has also worked in the R&D department of Manhattan Associates in Atlanta and has an MS in Computer Science from Georgia Tech and undergraduate degree in Computer Science from the University of Rajasthan in India.
