Dr. ElisavetChatzilari received the Diploma degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece and the PhD degree in Electronic Engineering from University of Surrey, UK. Currently, she is a post-doctoral research fellow with ITI-CERTH. Her research interests include machine learning, multimedia analysis, image processing and bio-signal analysis. Dr. Chatzilari has participated in many European and National projects (e.g. Live+Gov, i-treasures, Pericles) dealing with multimedia analysis using multimodal signals. Currently Dr. Chatzilari is involved in the H2020 MAMEM project dealing with Brain Computer Interfaces (BCI) and multimodal Natural Human Computer Interfaces. She has authored more than twenty related scientific journal, conference and book chapter publications. She has served as a reviewer in international Journals such as Multimedia Tools and Applications, IEEE Transactions on Multimedia as well as in well reputed conferences and workshops such as ACM Multimedia, ECIR and MMM.
