Christoph Beierle

Christoph Beierle is a professor of computer science and head of the knowledge-based systems group in the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Hagen, Germany. In 1985, he received his PhD in computer science from the University of Kaiserslautern, he was senior researcher at the Scientific Center of IBM Germany, and he is recipient of an IBM Outstanding Innovation Award. He has been working on algebraic specifications and formal approaches for software development and on methods for knowledge-based systems and their applications. His current research interests include modelling and reasoning with uncertain knowledge.
