Alex Bokov

UT Health San Antonio (USA)
I am an informatician with graduate training in statistics and physiology and over a decade of experience writing software and developing databases in the service of clinical and translational research. I am interested in using health records data to better understand the human aging process, predict outcomes for frail and complex patients, and help improve the quality and safety of medical care. In so doing I wish to make it easier for other researchers to use the analytic methods and software I develop for their own research. Languages: Python, Perl, Javascript, C, bash, R, SAS, SQL (Oracle, MSSQL, Postgres, MySQL, SQLite) Statistical Methods: time-to-event models (parametric and semi/non-parametric); mixed-effect models for longitudinal data sets; statistical simulations;
