  • @XingjunMa
I am a PhD student in Department of Computing and Information Systems, The University of Melbourne, Australia. My research interests include Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Medicine, AI in Education, Data Mining Assisted Medical Training and Virtual Reality (VR) based Medical Training. My current project is to apply data mining techniques to provide real-time performance feedback to trainees during training so as to improve their surgical skills based on a VR surgical platform. In this project, I investigate both cognitive (computer vision techniques) and non-cognitive models to learn knowledge representations from surgical behaviours and outcomes.
