I hold a PhD in Computer Science from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS, Brazil, 2010). Currently, I am an assistant professor at Federal University of Bahia (UFBA), in Salvador, Brazil, and a post-doctoral researcher (Newton International Fellow) at Farr Institute of Health Informatics Research, at UCL, London, UK.
