  • @FMMGuerra
Francisco is a biomedical engineer currently pursuing his Industrial PhD on 'Tailoring/personalisation and gamification to encourage cancer survivors adhering to a healthy lifestyle'. Francisco is hosted by Salumedia, a digital health company from Seville, and is a PhD student from University College Dublin. Holding a degree in Biomedical Engineer from Técnico de Lisboa (Portugal), he then specialized in human function technology at the University of Twente (The Netherlands). His previous work covered the field of medical technology research and development: his thesis focused on sensory substitution for users of wearable lower-limb exoskeletons; at the Neurorehabilitation Lab. of the University of Birmingham (UK) he worked on Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation; since the beginning of 2016 he was involved in different projects at Starlab Neuroscience Barcelona as a Junior Researcher.
